Angels we have heard down low ...

A play on the famous carol Angels We Have Heard On High, The Highgrove Singers seemed to be angels singing down here for us.  Their season kicked off with the concert series “Songs From The Heart”.

The ensemble has been performing for 16 season. Part of the proceeds from the this event will go to Lupus Bahamas 242, a non-profit group committed to raising lupus awareness and providing support to Bahamians living with the chronic illness.

The event was staged under the patronage of their Excellencies the Governor General and Lady Foulkes. The performance included the choral compositions of 20 century composers including a composition from group conductor Adrian Archer.
